The Marist Basketball Summer registration is now open!

GRADING  
The Marist Basketball Summer grading sessions will be held between 26 and 29 August 2024. Session times will be released soon.

The details for each age group are:

What to do on the day
Check the year your son is born and make sure he attends on the correct corresponding night.

Players should bring a basketball and water bottle.

Boys should wear their reversible jersey or PE uniform, and runners with a non-marking sole. New students are welcome to wear a comfortable t-shirt and shorts with runners (non-uniform).

Parents and carers may wait outside Marcellin Hall.

What to do if you cannot make it
If a player is not able to make the grading session, they can still register to play. Players will be placed into a suitable team, largely based on the coach’s feedback for last season or on the last grade played. Please email enquiries@maristbasketball.com if you have any issues.

Team selection
Team selection will take several weeks and players are asked to please be patient whilst the volunteers work through this process. After teams have been finalised, team managers or coaches will be in touch with parents and carers directly before the season starts.

Season Format

All players are required to attend training once per week plus a game as scheduled by Basketball ACT. Basketball ACT release the schedule closer to the season starting and schedule games as follows:
