Marist Basketball Club fees are non-refundable. This is because the Club has to pay team fees to Basketball ACT and incurs other costs based on the player registrations received.
However where certain circumstances occur outside of a player or their family’s control results in that boy being unable to participate in the basketball season (eg serious long term injury), a request for a refund can be submitted to the Club Committee for consideration. Any requests will be accessed by the Committee at the next Club Committee Meeting, usually held monthly. You will be contacted after the meeting with the Committee’s decision.
Please note:
- The Committee is unlikely to consider a clash of times with other sports to be an acceptable circumstance.
- An administration fee will be deducted from any refund of Club fees to cover the processing costs incurred by the club.
- Successful refund applications will not be paid until any playing singlets issued have been returned to the team manager.
- “Applications for refund of the the Basketball ACT registration fee of $52, need to be made directly to Basketball ACT using the attached form, which should be emailed separately to accounts@basketballact.com.au“
